It was a hot day in Vista! Many of us had been up since 5:15am and in the pool and weight room for a 3 hour workout. We had another work out ahead of us getting one of the residential homes ready for the New Haven Foster Home. We managed to fill a trailer and a truck with pine needles and branches and debris from the outside of the house. Six foster teens will be living in the house, it is another reminder to us of how lucky we are to have secure families to grown up in. Friends of New Haven gave us a nice write up (see below) and fed us really great pizza, we are headed back to Vista to finish up the landscaping efforts!
